Community Conversations: What’s next?

Posted Sunday October 30, 2016 by OneWest

Advocacy. Community engagement. Capacity building. Commercial development.

Those are the four central roles OneWest laid out for the organization during our recent Community Conversations, in which more than 100 attendees participated.

Members of the OneWest team presented our proposed plans, outlined here.  Small group discussions was centered around the four central roles, and summarized in this handout. Most importantly, attendees shared feedback on these plans, as well numerous ideas for improving the quality of life in Louisville’s West End. This process was critical for us, and we will share a comprehensive summary of what we learned shortly.

We thank all those who took the time to participate and connect with us. We will incorporate community feedback into our strategic plan, which will be presented in January 2017.

And we will hold Community Conversations on a regular basis. Click here to join our mailing list and receive notifications about upcoming events.
